What has been prepared with this book inspired by Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba are 15 select Qassidas of short to medium length ranging from 4 lines at the shortest length and 22 lines at the longest length. Each of the Qassida are Transliterated out of the Arabic into English Phonetics so that what he wrote can be pronounced by those that may not be able to read the Arabic. Each of the 15 Qassida are also Translated into English so that what may be pronounced with the Transliteration can be understood with the English Translation. The 15 are broken down and explained Word by Word and Line by Line so that the Context can also be seen along with the aforementioned Linguistic help. Lastly, for those that can read the Maghrebi Arabic, there are Full Images and Snippets of each of the lines that are provided in the book as well.It was my heartfelt intention that drove the intense study that it took to Transliterate, to Translate and explain some history and context of these 15 Qassidas into English for the World, and specifically for every single American Murid and Baye Fall that may not have the Arabic yet. Whether I know you or do not know you, I must want for my Brother/Sister what I want for myself, and I definitely wanted more Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba books and writings.
