This hex shank Forstner bit extension will extend the reach of any Forstner bit with a 3/8 inch Round or hex shank. Note: will not work with auger bits. The overall length is 10 inches and adds up to 8-1/2 inches of drilling depth. The hole opening is .375 inches with a depth of 1-3/8 inches. Bits are secured via two set screws for a secure grip. A hex wrench included. Can be used in a hand drill, drill press or lathe. Made from precision machined steel.
