RARE VINTAGE Kay Martin Cricklade English Pottery Chip & Dip Plate Platter Dish

This listing is a RARE VINTAGE Kay Martin Cricklade English Pottery Chip & Dip Plate/Platter/Dish and Small Side Dish Set, originating from England. Kay Martin, and her husband, Ivan Martin, ran their pottery shop from 1951 to approximately 1976 in Cricklade, England. Many of their pieces can now be found on display in the Cricklade Museum. These round ceramic dishes, in a variegated teal color, are handmade and signed on the back with the initials KM. The chip & dip plate measures approximately 10 in diameter and features intricate scrolling designs around the outer rim. The small side plate measures approximately 7.5 in diameter and features a beautiful, scalloped rim, with the same type of intricate scrolling around the sides of the interior. These unique, antique pieces of pottery are beautiful conversation pieces and are perfect for serving chips and dips, appetizers, and snacks in style. Both pieces will come to you in excellent condition, with no damage or evidence of use.
