Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) is a water-based balanced salt solution commonly used for a variety of applications in research, manufacturing, and education, including reagent preparation, dilution, and cell culture. It contains sodium chloride, disodium hydrogen phosphate, and sodium dihydrogen phosphate. The buffer helps to maintain a constant pH. This product does not contain potassium, calcium or magnesium. Instruction for use: Dissolve 1 pack of product (1 pack has19.6 grams) in 2 L (i.e. 2,000 mL) distilled or deionized water to yield 2 L of 1X PBS solution at pH 7.2 - 7.5, containing 150 mM sodium chloride and 10 mM phosphate.
